Feeling a bit owlish?

What does that expression mean anyway? Does anyone say something like that? Why do we only go about anthropomorphizing some animals? Ask someone if they are feeling mollusky and they'll just look at you funny.

I like the curved nose, brow ridge.

Why have blue or brown eyes when you can have both?

There's something about the juncture of the eyes, nose and brow that reminds me of Pennsylvania Dutch Hex Signs.
